Late Mrs. Anuradha Umrani was the founder of the Trust and the School. While working as a housewife, she did Diploma in Special Educations (For hearing impaired children) at the age of 45. During the course, she was highly impressed with the problems associated with hearing impaired children.Therefore, she decided to devote her rest of life for upliftment of these children and founded a school for them. Through hardship and odds, her leadership brought the school to a respectable position in the State of Maharashtra, India.
To impart education of high standard along with technical skills to the hearing impaired children so as to improve their employment opportunities with the emphasis on teaching values that make them good citizens and human being.
Adhar Mandal are Confidence, Independence, Persistence, Resilience, Respect. Our aim is to give all these values to our students and help them to be good human being. The children admitted in the school are from economically backward families.
Department Of Social Justice & Special Assistance – Govt. Of Maharashtra ( India ) Has Placed Adhar Mookbadhir Vidyalaya In “ A “ Grade Category. Adhar Mook-badhir Vidyalaya provides education from pre-primary to 7th standard.
