Prof. Umrani worked in the teaching field of technical education. He has a 45 years of teaching experience in the various engineering colleges in and around Pune City including Govt. College of Engineering, Pune. Being husband of Late Mrs. Anuradha Umrani, he is closely associated with the school activities since its foundation. Prof. S. M. Umrani was elected as a Chairman after the sad demise of Mrs. Anuradha.
To impart education of high standard along with technical skills to the hearing impaired children so as to improve their employment opportunities with the emphasis on teaching values that make them good citizens and human being.
Adhar Mandal are Confidence, Independence, Persistence, Resilience, Respect. Our aim is to give all these values to our students and help them to be good human being. The children admitted in the school are from economically backward families.
